London is finally ready to welcome people back to the legendary West End. The arts and culture district has been closed due to government COVID restrictions, but 17th May allows the official reopening of indoor entertainment – including theatres (with social distancing in place) and cinemas – alongside indoor hospitality.
To celebrate the reopenings, the Heart of London Business Alliance staged a reopening photocall with their members to showcase some of the London’s most iconic stars and characters.
Recognisable faces in attendance included: Shane Richie (star of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie at The Apollo Theatre), Noah Thomas (star of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie at The Apollo Theatre), Holly Stars (writer of Death Drop at Garrick Theatre), Jake Brewer (star of Magic Mike Live London at The Hippodrome), Aaron Witter (star of Magic Mike Live London at The Hippodrome), Sean Kelly (Bars Manager/Mixologist at Brasserie Zédel), Mark Lord (Head Beadle of the Burlington Arcade), Gena Krumova (cinema usher at the ODEON Luxe Leicester Square), Cllr Matthew Green (Cabinet Member for Business, Licensing and Planning) and Ros Morgan (Chief Executive at Heart of London Business Alliance).
