All is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914

Through December 31

Peter Rothstein’s music-theatre work about the World War I Christmas truce, combining period songs and firsthand accounts of the event. The Theater Latté Da production was filmed at the Ritz Theater in Minneapolis in December 2019.

Here’s What She Said to Me

Through December 31

Kiké Brimah, Ayo-Dele Edwards, and Estella Daniels star in Oladipo Agboluaje’s play that combines drama, music, poetry, and movement to tell the story of three generations of proud African women who connect across two continents. The Sheffield Theatres and Utopia Theatre production was filmed in November 2020 at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, England.

Peter Pan – A Musical Adventure

Through January 1

A musical based on J.M. Barrie’s tale about the boy who won’t grow up, with songs by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe. Filmed in 2018 at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater.

The Mint Theater Company production of Lillian Hellman’s play set against the backdrop of labor strife in a small Ohio town. Filmed Off-Broadway in 2018.

The Mint Theater Company production of Teresa Deevy’s play about a servant girl of uncertain parentage who dreams of finding something great to do. Filmed Off-Broadway in 2013.

Romeo and Juliet

Available until February half-term 2021

Shakespeare’s Globe YouTube Channel

Nathan Welsh and Charlotte Beaumont star in this 90-minute adaptation of Romeo and Juliet, created to introduce young people to Shakespeare. The production was filmed in 2019 at Shakespeare’s Globe in London.

The Mint Theater Company production of Hazel Ellis’ play about a group of unmarried school teachers. Filmed Off-Broadway in 2016.

Max von Essen stars in the Mint Theater Company production of Miles Malleson’s play. Filmed Off-Broadway in 2017.

A Picture of Autumn

March 29 – May 23

The Mint Theater Company production of N.C. Hunter’s play about a family living in disarray in their decaying ancestral home. Filmed Off-Broadway in 2013.

The Fatal Weakness

May 17 – June 13

The Mint Theater Company production of George Kelly’s play about an incurable romantic who discovers, after 28 years of marriage, that her husband is a lying cheat. Filmed Off-Broadway in 2014.

My Beautiful Launderette

Available until the Curve reopens

Hanif Kureishi’s play based on his Oscar-nominated screenplay, featuring original music from Tennant/Lowe of the Pet Shops Boys. Omar Malik and Jonny Fines star in the production, filmed at Leicester’s Curve theatre in 2019.

Dael Orlandersmith performs her play based on interviews she conducted with the residents of Ferguson, Missouri, in the months following the shooting of Michael Brown. Filmed Off-Broadway at the Rattlestick Playwrights Theater in 2018.
